About This Car

The 2016 Porsche 911 R represents one of the most purist interpretations of the modern 911, developed as a driver-focused alternative to the GT3 RS and produced in strictly limited numbers. With a total production of just 991 units worldwide, the 911 R has become one of the most sought-after modern Porsche models among collectors and enthusiasts alike. This particular example was delivered new in Germany.

Based on the 991-generation platform, the 911 R shares its naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine with the GT3 RS, producing 500 horsepower. Unlike its track-focused sibling, the 911 R was developed with a more analogue driving experience in mind. Power is delivered exclusively through a six-speed manual transmission, and this example is equipped with a single-mass flywheel, further sharpening throttle response and driver engagement. Power is sent to the rear wheels only, preserving the traditional 911 driving characteristics that enthusiasts value so highly.

This example is finished in Pure White and specified with the factory green striping package, a signature configuration for the 911 R that pays tribute to classic Porsche racing liveries. The car is also equipped with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), reducing unsprung weight while providing exceptional braking performance and durability. The car sits on lightweight wheels and maintains the subtle, understated appearance that distinguishes the 911 R from more aggressive GT models.

Inside, the cabin is finished in black leather with Pepita inserts, a classic Porsche upholstery pattern that further reinforces the heritage-inspired character of the car. The highly desirable 918 Spyder carbon bucket seats are fitted, combining lightweight construction with excellent support. The dashboard features the characteristic green instrument dials specific to the 911 R, a small but important detail that highlights the model's unique identity. Overall, the interior combines lightweight materials with a purposeful yet elegant specification.

The car is believed to have had two owners from new and presents in mechanically very good condition. The car remains in first paint throughout, with stone chips visible across the body consistent with road use, reinforcing this as a true driver's example of the 911 R rather than a static collection piece. The car benefits from services carried out in January 2020, March 2024, and most recently in September 2025.

The car is supplied with its complete factory items including books, tools, and spare keys. Offered today as one of the most collectible and driver-focused modern Porsche models, the 911 R represents a rare opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after limited-production manual Porsche from the modern era.
